Here is a project we completed of the stripping and painting of an interior wooden handrail.  The paint that was removed was a water-based acrylic enamel that never cured properly.  After stripping, the handrails were sanded and primed before being painted with 3 coats of interior black, high-gloss lacquer.

C. Tilford’s Interior House Painting

Subject: Seattle Interior House Painting

The Tilford’s hired us in the winter to paint a house that they had just purchased before moving in.  It was an old home that had been remodeled poorly and had many stress cracks and drywall damage.  After they completed moving in they called us again to paint the interior of the condo they just moved out of so that they could put it on the market.

travis and his crew exceeded every expectation i had, from the fastest response time ever (especially on a weekend), squeezing in my paint job in the middle of all their other business (in the week between christmas and new years, no less), working around my schedule to do the color consultations, helping me to pick the perfect colors for my living space, going out of the way to handle unexpected events (like replacing a screw in my roof that was leaking water on the ceiling), and just being generally friendly and easy to work with. i can’t say enough good things about this company and will most definitely recommend them and hire them again.

In December 09 we were asked by the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help give a little girl, who lived in Oak Harbor and was suffering from cancer, a room make over.  We gladly accepted.   I didn’t know what to really expect because I have never done something like this before.  But what I found was that their were some really good people that were willing to put their busy schedules aside and work some really long hours.

In fact, Dawn Wilkinson from Six Walls Design in Mercer Island ( http://www.six-walls.com ) was there, in Oak Harbor, helping a week before she was going to move her entire store.

I have never been in a situation before where so many strangers came together to help make one person’s life a little better.  It was a great experience and I’d like to share to photos of the room makeover.
